1. Costume Design in Slan
Visualizing the character, costume, weapon, and environment from science fiction novel ‘Slan’ written by A. E. van Vogt, published in 1946.

  2. The Blader
I’d been interested in human muscle structure since I saw da Vinci’s drawing when I was a little child. I was very eager to rebuild it with other objects. And finally I came to put that concept at a class called ‘drawing fantastic’ in 2002. In this robotic figure, I tried to convert the blade into the muscle structure, and named it ‘The Blader’.

  3. Memory of LA Zoo
I had an animal drawing class in Otis College of Art and Design. It was in Spring 2002. I went to the Zoo every other week and drew all sorts of animals from there.  It was so much fun.  I still remember the eyes of giraffe, the sun shining on my sketchbook and the days of my youth.
